In challenging times our sector has proved its resilience; striving towards more sustainable solutions and projects that put the needs of the communities they serve first. The awards recognised the teams, schemes, and solutions that have made a positive impact on communities across the UK. We had categories to suit all tenures and for all the key players, including housebuilders, developers, landlords, architects, and sustainability innovators.
The team has delivered stunning developments over the last year. The Curve on Between Towns Road was highly commended in the best development (0-100 homes) category.
IHDA 2023 was evaluated by a panel of housing industry experts. Regarding OX Place’s award for the best development team, the judges praised the team for their demonstrated key delivery outputs and their commitment to involving the community in their work. They were particularly impressed with the number of residents from the Oxford area who were supported through full-time work or work experience, as well as the establishment of the ‘Building Lives Academy.’ The partnership with Springhill Prison was also noted as a unique and positive aspect. The panel recognized the team’s determination to deliver homes sustainably for the benefit of residents and the broader community.
